Woman killed, suspect among others injured in Lancaster County, Pa. stabbing

A woman is dead, and two others are injured after a stabbing in Lancaster County.

Emergency crews responded to the stabbing at a home in the 2900 block of Dell Lane in East Hempfield Township at 3:11 p.m. on Sunday, November 3.
Upon arrival, Carmen Martinez-Silva, 50, of Lancaster, was found dead in the yard of the residence. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the coroner's office, Martinez-Silva died from stab wounds. Her death was ruled a homicide.
Two others were found suffering from stab wounds at the scene and were transported to Lancaster General Hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Police identified the suspect as one of the two victims who were injured.
The stabbing remains under investigation.
